Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: AB, NB, NS, ON, QC. USA: MA, NC, NH, NY, WI.
Collection and Habitat data. One NH specimen was captured in July–August by a flight intercept trap in a coastal backdunes forest. In Canada found in mixed forests, mature red spruce and red maple forests, hemlock forest (120+ years old), forested black spruce bog with red maple, and an old Pinus banksiana forest. Adults on/in fresh gilled mushrooms on forest floor, on stalked polypore mushrooms on forest floor, and on Pleurotus sp. on log ( Klimaszewski et al. 2009c, 2018).
