Distribution. Palearctic, adventive in North America, reported from A/S ( Klimaszewski et al. 2021). Canada: AB, BC, MB, NB, NF, NS, ON, PE, QC, YT. USA: AL, AR, AZ, CA, GA, MA, MD, ME, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OK, OR, PA, TN, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY.
Collection and Habitat data. Specimens were captured from June to September in ME and NH by flight intercept (FIT) and window traps, by sifting litter by a stream, and by processing grass sod using a Berlese funnel. Elsewhere found in hardwood, mixed, and coniferous forests; in rotting fungi (often very common), organic debris, carrion, and wet moss ( Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
