Springer, 6 M, 2 F ( MZUCR). CARTAGO: Embalse Angostura, Turrialba, 300 m del Catie, 4 XI 2009, M. Herrera, 1 M, 1 F, 1 ninfa ( MZUNA). ALAJUELA: Crucitas, Cutris, San Carlos, 50m, 25 IV 2008, B. Pacheco, 5 M, 1 F, 1 ninfa ( MZUCR). LIMÓN: Laguna Peje, Peje, 28m, 28 VIII. 2010, B. Pacheco, 2 M, 4 F ( MZUCR).
Ecological notes. This species has been collected along both Pacific and Atlantic coasts of Costa Rica, in freshwater lagoons and one river. It has been found in localities close to the coast from 10 m. o. s. l. in the Pacific slope, to localities over 852 m in the Caribbean slope. It was occasionally taken in combination with the water striders Trepobates trepidus Drake & Harris, 1928 and T. taylori .
