Adult. ( Fig. 3G View FIGURE 3 ). See also Janse (1954, Pl. 150, Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 ). Wingspan 11 mm.

Diagnosis. Characterized by the rounded apex of the forewing with a pair of distinct discal stigmata. Abdomen with a bundle of long hair-pencils on segment VI ( Fig. 5C View FIGURE 5 , from Park 2018, Fig. 14b). The species has a similar wing pattern like L. ideologa Meyrick , but it can be distinguished by the male genitalia with narrowly elongated cucullus.

Male genitalia. ( Fig. 5A, B View FIGURE 5 , from Park 2018): See also Janse (1954, pl. 141, fig. 1- line drawing; Pl. 151, Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 - photo); Park (2018, Figs. 14, 14a). The cucullus is elongated with nearly parallel-sided margins, and the aedeagus is stout, acute apically, with a large sclerotized plate of cornutus.

Material examined. Type no. 579, ♂ (holotype), [ South Africa], Umkomaas, 24 i 1914, A.J.T. Janse, gen. slide no. 5264.

Distribution. Cameroon ( Park 2018), South Africa (KwaZulu-Natal) ( Meyrick 1918).

Remarks. The species was described based on two males collected at Umkomaas, South Africa, and it was reported from Cameroon ( Park 2018).
