Type species: Amirollia furcata sp. n., here designated.

Diagnosis. In general habitus similar to Mirollia Stål, 1873 and Hemimirollia gen. n. It differs by the completely flat disc of pronotum, by the absence of large phallus sclerites in males, and the greatly forked male cerci.

Tegmen of normal width, costal area little widened in circa basal half; apex rounded. Male stridulatory area roughly oval. Male cerci forked. Male epiproct wide throughout. Male phallus without sclerites, either completely membranous or with a pair of faint semisolid structures. Male first abdominal tergite with a small setose area in middle.

Other species included: A. ulla ( Gorochov, 2008) comb. n. from Mirollia that also has a flat disc of pronotum and forked male cerci.
