REMARKS: Wolcott (1923) reported this species to be eaten by yellow warblers, yellow-shouldered blackbirds, and orioles (Aves). Wolcott (1923) reported it from lights, weeds, coffee leaves, Soanum torvum, and cotton. Wolcott (1936) reported this species to be eaten by yellow warblers, yellow-shouldered blackbirds, and orioles (Aves), Anolis evermanni and A. krugii ( Reptilia: Dactyloidae ). Wolcott (1936) reported it from lights, weeds, Solanum torvum , cotton, orange. Wolcott (1948) reported this species to be eaten by yellow warblers, yellow-shouldered black-birds, orioles (Aves), Anolis evermanni and A. krugii ( Reptilia: Dactyloidae ). Wolcott (1948) reported it from cotton plants, coffee and orange groves, and virgin forests.
