DISTRIBUTION: PUERTO RICO: Adjuntas, Aibonito, Bayamón, Cayey, Lares; Luquillo, Martin Peña, Mayagüez, Río Grande, San Juan, Vega Alta, Yauco ( Leng & Mutchler 1922; Mutchler 1923a; Wolcott 1923 , 1936; Blackwelder 1945; Wolcott 1948 ; McDermott 1966; Drewry 1970; Blackwelder & Arnett 1974; Kazantsev 2007; Kazantsev 2008)

TYPE LOCALITY: Porto Rico, Mayaguez

TYPE DEPOSITORY: AMNH

REMARKS: Misspelled as Callopisma orencona [sic] by Blackwelder & Arnett (1974). Wolcott (1936) reported this species to be eaten by Anolis evermanni and A. cristatelus ( Reptilia: Dactyloidae ). Wolcott (1923, 1936) reports this species from grapefruit foliage and on coffee leaves. Wolcott (1936) also reports this species collected on Ingavera, and pomarrosa leaves.
