= Prionopus Bernhauer 1921a: 20 , as subgenus of Trigonopselaphus Gemminger & Harold, 1868 View in CoL (preoccupied, not Billberg 1820 ( Hymenoptera View in CoL ), Schönherr 1825 ( Curculionidae View in CoL ). Type species: Trigonopselaphus elvirae Bernhauer, 1921 View in CoL , by monotypy.
Note: Prionopedinus View in CoL is currently known as a monotypic genus endemic to the Neotropical region ( Colombia), not keyed out by Chani-Posse (2014a).
