Report as epibiont on bryozoans: This species was reported as epibiont on marine bryozoan Einhornia crustulenta (Pallas, 1766) (reported as Membraneipora crustulenta ) in Kiel Bay, the North Sea ( Precht 1935).

Report as epibiont on other hosts/substrata: It was reported as epibiont on variey of hosts from the North Sea

eg. on fish: Gasterosteus aculeatus ; mollusca: Hydrobia ventrosa (Montagu, 1803) ; on decapod: Crangon crangon (Linnaeus, 1758) ; on crustacean, mysid: Neomysis integer (Leach, 1814) (reported as Neomysis vulgaris ); on isopods: Idotea chelipes (Pallas, 1766) (reported as Idothea viridis ), Sphaeroma rugicaudum, Seifert, 1938 etc (( Precht 1935).

This species is distributed on various hosts (mainly crustacean) from Germany, Mexico, Finland, UK, USA, Denmark, Italy, Finland, Germany, Greenland and Czech Republic, Netherland etc ( Chatterjee et al. 2020a).
