Die untersuchten Tiere aus Nordost-Deutschland haben kürzere Notogasterborsten (um max. 20 µm), einen spitzen Sensillus und keinen Zahn am Pteromorphen-Unterrand - im Gegensatz zu Grandjeans Beschreibung: diese Merkmale sind jedoch vermutlich innerhalb der Variabilität, da auch bei anderen Anachipteria-Arten variabel.
Ökologie: Vorwiegend in Niedermooren, hygrophil.
Verbreitung: Europa.
