Turkmeniella Paramonov, 1940 a: 44 . Type species: Turkmeniella magnifica Paramonov, 1940 , by monotypy.
Comments: The two known species of this genus, known only from five specimens, were found in widely separated parts of the southern Palaearctic Region. The male genitalia of T. crosi are Spogostylum -like; those of the females have not been described. Hosts: Turkmeniella crosi has been reared from the nest of an Anthocopa sp. in Algeria ( du Merle 1975).
Distribution: Turkmenistan and Maghreb. North Africa: Algeria, Morocco: 1 species; Turkmeniella crosi (Villeneuve) .
