Comments: Doliogethes was proposed for those members of Dischistus Group 3 of Bezzi (1924) which have dichoptic males, a tendency to reddening of the cuticle, and entirely pale bristles on the legs.

Distribution: Africa South of the Sahara: 17 species, mostly South Africa (Eastern, Northern and Western Cape) but reaching Namibia, and Zambia: 1 species.
