Thrips abdominalis Crawford, 1910: 157 View in CoL
In Arabian Peninsula, this species is recorded from UAE (zur Strassen & van Harten 2008), and is new to Saudi Arabia. It can be recognized easily by the large triangular teeth-like craspeda on the tergal posterior margins, the head distinctly smaller than the pronotum, and pronotal posterior margin with 5–6 pairs setae.
