Microcephalothrips Bagnall View in CoL View at ENA
This monotypic pantropical genus was described from Mexico, but is widespread in tropical and subtropical regions ( Vierbergen et al. 2006). The genus is a member of Thrips genus group based on the presence of paired ctenidia on the tergites; ctenidia on tergite VIII placed posteromedially to the spiracle.
