This species was first described from Iraq and subsequently recorded from Iran ( Minaei 2012) and Saudi Arabia. Wing polymorphism in the species was discussed in Rasool et al. (2021a).
Material studied. All macropterae, except where otherwise indicated. Riyadh. Dirab, KSU Educational Farm , 36 females, five males, one male microptera from Suaeda aegyptiaca , 2.vi.2020, ( BT) ; 69 females, 15 males from Tribulus terrestris , same locality and data as except 9.vi.2020 . 10 females, four males from Polygonum sp. , 28.vi.2020, same locality except, ( SW) , Soliman ; A. Al-Deri’yya, nine females, one male microptera from Chenopodium album , 7.xii.2020, ( BT) .
