Thamnothrips bimaculatus Priesner, 1932a: 3 View in CoL
The species was first described from Egypt, and is widely didtributed in southern Mediterranean countries, to China and India ( Minaei & Mound 2015) and is also known from Iran, Israel, Yemen and Saudi Arabia (Rasool et al. 2021).
Material studied. All from leaves of Lycium shawii except where mentioned. Al Baha. Baljurashi , one female from Aristida sp. , 22.ix.2020, ( BT); Aqiq, 20 females, six males, from Pennisetum sp. , 23.ix.2020, ( BT); Aqiq, four females, 23.ix.2020, ( BT); Jarab, 16 females, eight males and 10 larvae, 23.ix.2020, ( BT). Riyadh. Rawdat Khuraim, 74 females, three males 11 Larvae, 30. i.2019 , 27 females, five males 27 larvae, 28. viii.2020, ( BT); 39 females, three males four Larvae, 26.ii.2019 , Aldryhim, Y. N. and Rasool, I; Al Quwaiiyah , 33 females and larvae, 14.iii.2020 ( BT); Zulfi, one female from Raphanus sp. , 27.iii.2019, ( BT), Aldryhim, Y. N. and Rasool, I .
