Material examined. 11 workers 2 males (IAB).
Distribution in Gansu. Common at medium to high altitudes of the northwestern Qilianshan mountains and the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau in the southwest ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 4 – 21 ); 5 localities between 2753 and 3656 m (IAB).
Distribution in China. Gansu, Qinghai (IAB).
Forage plants. ASTERACEAE : Saussurea sp.; CAMPANULACEAE : Adenophora polyantha ; FABACEAE : Hedysarum tanguticum , Oxytropis ochrocephala ; GERANIACEAE : Geranium pylzowianum ; LAMIACEAE : Caryopteris mongholica .; ROSACEAE : Rubus sp.; SCROPHULARIACEAE : Pedicularis chinensis , P. kansuensis .
