Genus Stictocladius Edwards, 1931 View in CoL

A genus of 18 named species that occur in the Nearctic, Neotropical, and Australasian zoogeographical regions. Eleven species are recorded from South America ( Saether & Cranston 2012). The larvae are hyporheic in sand ( Andersen et al. 2013).
