Type host – Sorghum bicolor and Sorghum sp.
Type locality – India and Pakistan .
Distribution – Andra Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Orissa, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Outside India – China, Kenya and Pakistan.
Hosts – Areca catechu , Cocos nucifera , Cynodon dactylon , Dactyloctenium aegyptium , Dichanthum annulatum, Lusine egypticum, Musa sapientum , Oryza sativa , Panicum distachyum , P. javanicum , Poaceae species, Saccharum aurandinaceum , S. bicolor , S. helepenes , Sorghum sp. , S. vulgare , Urochloa panicoides and zea mays .
