Distribution – Assam, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa and West Bengal. Outside India – Brazil, Cuba, Fiji, France, French, Iran, Mozambique, Netherlands Antilles, Polynesia, Thailand, USA, Vanuatu and Venezuela.
Hosts – Bambusa aurandinacea , Bambusa bambos , Bambusa sp. and Saccharum officinarum
