Genus Stephanorrhina Burmeister, 1842

The genus was revised by Schürhoff (1942). Allard (1986) superficially treated this genus under the names Stephanorrhina and Aphelorrhina Westwood, 1843 . Beinhundner (2017a) considers Aphelorrhina as a subgenus of Stephanorrhina . Following Krajcik (2008a) there are eleven valid species, almost half of them polytypic. Four species were recorded for Angola ( Paulino de Oliveira 1882; Ferreira 1965).
