Material examined. Holotype of Donisthorpina asiatica: Ƥ, Malaysia, Malaya, Gombak, 7.X.1973, in litter, N. Bolton coll. [ BMNH]. China: Guangdong: Shixing County, Chebaling National Nature Reserve, 25.V.2002, Zaifu Xu coll., 1 Ƥ [ ZJUC]; Nankunshan Provincial Nature Reserve, 25–30.VII.2010, yellow pan trap, Huayan Chen coll., 1 Ƥ [ SCAU].

Hosts. Delphacidae ( Mita 2009a) : in Japan (Ryukyu Islands): Hosunka sp.

Distribution. Oriental. China (new record): Guangdong; Malaysia ( Olmi 1984), Japan: Ryukyu Islands ( Mita 2009a).
