53. Dryinus nanlingensis Xu, Olmi, Guglielmino & Chen , sp. nov. *

( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1, 2. 1 )

Etymology. This species is named after the type locality, Mt. Nanling.

Type. Holotype, female, CHINA: Guangdong, Nanling National Nature Reserve, Protection Station, 21– 25.IV.2011, yellow pan trap, Huayan Chen coll. [ SCAU].

Diagnosis. Female with head with dorsal surface completely reticulate rugose; OPL much shorter than TL; occipital carina complete; temple present; antenna with segments 4–5 as cylindric as other segments, not broader than other segments; posterior ocelli far from occipital carina; pronotum humped, partly black; posterior collar of pronotum present; notauli complete, posteriorly separated; metapleuron without a narrow region smooth, shiny, hairless and without sculpture; dorsal surface of propodeum less than twice as long as posterior surface, reticulate rugose, without parallel longitudinal keels; segment 1 of protarsus slightly longer than segment 4; enlarged claw ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1, 2. 1 ) not spatulate, with one subapical tooth, without one broad apical lamella.

Description. Female: fully winged; length 6.1 mm. Head black, except mandible, clypeus, gena, surface between antennal toruli, narrow stripe around orbits, temple, occiput and large part of ventral side testaceous; antenna brown, except segments 1 and 8–10 testaceous; prothorax brown, with reddish nuances on propleura and pronotal disc; rest of mesosoma black, except scutellum, metanotum, lateral regions of scutum, part of mesopleura reddish; metasoma testaceous; legs testaceous, except part of coxae and stalks of femora brown. Antenna clavate, with rhinaria present on segments 5–10; antennal segments in following proportions: 11:6:43:28:19:15:12:10:9:12. Head dull, flat, with ocellar triangle convex, with dorsal surface dull, reticulate rugose; occiput and ventral surface of head smooth and without sculpture; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete, laterally not reaching eyes; POL = 4; OL = 2; OOL = 10; OPL = 1; TL = 2; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli longer than OPL (3:1). Pronotum dull, granulated, with many longitudinal striae on sides of disc, on posterior transverse furrow and on furrow around disc; pronotum with disc humped and posterior collar long; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Scutum with median region granulated, dull; lateral regions and posterior fourth granulated and strongly sculptured by many parallel and longitudinal keels. Notauli complete, posteriorly separated. Minimum distance between notauli slightly longer than POL (5:4). Scutellum and metanotum smooth, shiny, without sculpture. Mesopleuron shiny, densely punctate and without sculpture among punctures. Metapleuron dull, strongly transversely striate. Propodeum dull, completely reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels, with dorsal surface less than twice as long as posterior surface (13:8). Fore wing with two large dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein more than twice as long as proximal part (25:10). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 25:5:10:24:40. Enlarged claw not spatulate ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1, 2. 1 ) with one strong subdistal tooth and one row of seven lamellae. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1, 2. 1 ) with two rows of about 26 lamellae; distal apex with about 25 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Male: unknown.

Hosts. Unknown.

Distribution. Oriental. China.

Remarks. The colour of this species is very similar to that of Dryinus punctulatus Xu, Olmi & He, 2008 , but the sculpture of head and thorax is completely different. In the type locality of this species, many specimens of D. punctulatus were also collected.

According to the systematics proposed by Xu et al. (2011c), this new species belongs to group 1 of Dryinus . It is very similar to D. lianus Xu, Olmi & He 2006 , and D. lini Olmi 1993 . The main differences with these three species are the following:

1 Head with OPL much longer than TL; dorsal region of propodeum sculptured by numerous parallel longitudinal keels...................................................................................... D. lianus Xu, Olmi & He

- Head with OPL much shorter than TL; dorsal region of propodeum reticulate rugose, without parallel longitudinal keels... 2

2 Enlarged claw spatulate ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1, 2. 1 in Olmi 1993b); notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.7 length of scutum....... D. lini Olmi

- Enlarged claw not spatulate ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1, 2. 1 ); notauli complete, posteriorly separated............................................................................................... D. nanlingensis Xu, Olmi, Guglielmino & Chen , sp. nov.
