Type material

BMNH (♀ holotype, 1 ♂ paratype), NHMB (1 paratype).

Distribution

Bismarck Range of Central New Guinea and Papuan Peninsula (East new Guinea). Frey (1969) erroneously gives “ New Britain N. coast” [ Bismarck Archipelago] in the key, but “S. E. Bismarck Range Topu [sic♂], 6000 ft. ” in the original description, and does not mention any paratype from Boneno.
