Diagnosis: The species can be identified by its pronotum tectiform, median carina elevated, wrinkled, with a thin longitudinal furrow, crossed by posterior sulcus at posterior third, lateral carinae well developed, obtuse.
Habitats: This species is fairly well distributed all over Libya but collected from one locality in Fezzan on vegetable in small number.
Material examined: Sebha Region: Samnu , 2♀, on vegetable, 18.vi.1990 .
Localities: Cyrenaica; Tripolitania; Gas-Garabulli, Tripoli; Fezzan; Samnu.
Distribution: Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya.
Remarks: This species was earlier recorded from Tripolitania by Jannone (1938).
