Lectotype (Kostermans in Dassanayake & Fosberg, Revised Handb. Fl. Ceylon 1: 481. 1980; Rico in Turland & Jarvis in Taxon 46: 475. 1997): Herb. Hermann 2: 50, No. 217 (BM-000594612).

Current name: Acacia caesia (L.) Willd. (Fabaceae: Mimosoideae).

Note: Kostermans indicated Hermann material in BM as the type, this choice subsequently being restricted by Rico to one of the four specimens involved.
