Dacrysoma longulum View in CoL sp. n.
(Figs. 15, 50, 71, 98)
Habitus Fig. 15. Length. 0.75 mm. Colour: dusky yellow, antennae paler yellow. Antennomeres 3–11 Fig. 50 View FIGURES 41 – 55 . Pronotum: length 0.20 mm, width 0.30 mm, Fig.71 View FIGURES 62 – 76 . Elytra 0.47 mm long, 0.35 mm wide.
Male: aedeagus Fig.98
Female: unknown.
Etymology. This epithet is taken from the Latin adjective longulus, meaning rather long, and refers to the long antennomere 11.
Remarks. Immediately distinguishable by the very long bar to the dumb-bell shaped antennomere 11, a character which is shared by only one other species, D. dolorosum , from which it may be separated by the less hooked form of the aedeagus which lacks a narrowed tip, and by the less angled lateral margins of the pronotum. If the females are sexually dimorphic and have a shorter antennomere 11 (cf. Cissidium banari sp. n.) they may be present amongst those associated with the males from the same site assigned to the morphologically similar D. fabrum .
