Description. Adult ( Fig. 20): Wingspan 18.0 mm.
Type material. Holotype ♂, CHINA: Mt. Mao’er, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region , 1100 m, 1.vii.2001, collector unknown, genitalia slide no. L02020 ( NKUM, Tianjin) [examined].
Paratype: 1 ♀, same data as for holotype, genitalia slide no. W03106 [examined] .
Additional material: 1 ♂, INDONESIA: SUMATRA: Prov [ince] S. Baral, Air Sirah, Telefonstation , 1200 m, 25 km, O von Podong , Primörurwald , 19–20.x.1981, coll. Dr. R. U. Roesler, genitalia slide no. ZZWGW008 ( LNK, Karlsruhe) .
Distribution. China, Indonesia.
Diagnosis. This species is represented by the slender and straight brachia of uncus, the nearly spherical valva in the male genitalia ( Fig. 44), the antrum W-shaped posteriorly, and the leaflike signa in the female genitalia ( Fig. 57). It is close to S. chionoscia Meyrick , under which the differences between the two species are discussed.
