Cornutus spine-shaped.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 55): Posterior apophysis about twice as long as anterior apophysis. Sterigma widely collar-shaped. Ductus bursae broad, slightly longer than posterior apophysis, crinkled longitudinally, with a large annular sclerite medially. Diagnosis. This new species resembles S. hongkongensis sp. nov., but can be distinguished from it by the smaller size, the eighth segment in male without pleural lobes, which are present in S. hongkongensis sp. nov.

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin minutus = small, in reference to the small size of the species.
