Anaulacomera (Anallomes) curvata Antunes & Takiya sp. nov.

( Figs. 1–3 View FIGURE 1 View FIGURE 2 View FIGURE 3 )

Type-locality. Parque Nacional do Itatiaia, Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Diagnosis. Tenth tergite with pair of cerciform projections ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ); cercus bilobed, main lobe strongly curved dorsally at basal third and with acute apex, accessory lobe with apex strongly curved dorsally and soft furrow along basal two-thirds ( Figs. 1E View FIGURE 1 , 2A–B View FIGURE 2 ).

Description. Head. Subcircular in frontal view; fastigium of vertex weakly pronounced, not exceeding scape length ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ). Thorax. Pronotal disc flat with anterior and posterior margins almost straight; lateral lobe of pronotum as wide as high with anterior margin slightly rounded and posterior margin strongly rounded ( Fig. 1C–D View FIGURE 1 ); prosternum unarmed; mesosternum triangular with oval expansions; metasternum triangular with subcircular expansions. Wings. Developed; tegmen narrow, with anal and costal margins parallel ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ); membranous wings surpassing tegmen length ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ). Legs. Foreleg with coxal spine present, tympanum covered by cuticle; midleg with femur with two spines on ventral margin, tibia with eight pairs of spines on ventral margin; hindleg with femur with eight pairs of spines on ventral margin, tibia with 16 pairs of spines on ventral margin and 20 on dorsal margin. Description of male. Stridulatory files of left and right tegmina with 41 and 24 teeth, respectively; tenth tergite with cerciform projections ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ); cercus bilobed, main lobe strongly curved dorsally at basal third and with acute apex, accessory lobe with apex strongly curved dorsally and soft furrow at basal two-thirds ( Fig. 2A–B View FIGURE 2 ); subgenital plate with a V-shaped emargination and pseudo style projections ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ). Female abdomen. Subgenital plate flattened laterally ( Fig. 3C View FIGURE 3 ); ovipositor the same length of abdomen, upcurved with ventral margin serrated ( Fig. 3A–B View FIGURE 3 ).

Coloration. Mostly green except for black tarsus ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ). Pronotal disc and abdomen with red spots ( Fig. 1C, E View FIGURE 1 ). Male with stridulatory file black ( Fig. 1D View FIGURE 1 ).

Measurements (mm). Three males (average value): Total length 11–12 (12); Pronotum 4 (4); Tegmen 22–23 (23); Foreleg 8–9 (9); Hindleg 30–32 (31). One female: Total length 12; Pronotum 3; Tegmen 22; Foreleg 11; Hindleg 32; Ovipositor 7.

Etymology. The species name refers to pronounced curvature of the main lobe of male cercus.

Taxonomic notes. The new species can be easily distinguished from other Anaulacomera species based on the following combination of characteristics of the male terminalia: (1) tenth tergite with cerciform projections; (2) cercus bilobed, with main lobe strongly curved dorsally at basal third; and (3) accessory lobe strongly curved dorsally at apex and with soft furrow along basal two-thirds.
