Status at New Ireland. New record, based on NTUM 11473 (1 specimen, 20.7 mm SL, St. KS 47, west side of Tsoilaunung Island, Kavieng District , 02°32.785’S 150°30.827’E, 6 m depth, 18 June 2014).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2.—General distribution: Eastern Indonesia and Sabah ( Malaysia) east to Philippines. Found in reef crevices and caves, 2–20 m depth. Marine.
