Description. Small to medium-sized. Spinose. Female body robust, male body slender. Apterous. Head rounded or oblong, with supra-antennal and supra-orbital spines. Occiput convex, with occipital spines. Antennae short, distinctly segmented, shorter than profemora. Thorax spinose and thick-built. Pronotum nearly trapezoidal. Mesonotum distinctly swollen medially in female, indistinct in male. Mesopleurae and metapleurae with a small supra-coxal spine in both sexes. Abdomen cylindrical, with triangularly expanded posterolateral angles from second to seventh tergites, less distinct in male. Female with distinct praeopercular organ on posteromedian area of seventh sternum. Anal segment with emargination on posterior margin in female, dilated into two semi-tergites in male. Cerci short and flattened, straight in female, curved in male. Legs slender and long, femora armed with serrations, tibiae armed with serrations or unarmed.
Distribution. China (Guangxi and Yunnan) and Vietnam.
Notes. This genus currently consists of 16 species and all of them are only known from China. An unidentified species is found in Vietnam that needs further research.
