Records. plains of the Jordan, Judean Hills, Judean Desert and Negev. According to Amitai (1987), the species occurs throughout the entire country.

Distribution. Mediterranean and Central Asia. All records of this species outside of the Palaearctic ( Niger, Sudan, Yemen) are based on singleton females.
