Records. Uncertain (the original label locatity " Syria " may refer also both to Lebanon and to Israel).

Note. The specimen may belong to the original type series of P. spiniger .

Distribution. Israel (?).

Records. Uncertain (it is not clear whether this species was reported from Israel).

Distribution. Eastern Mediterranean: Greece, Turkey, Israel (?).

Records. En Fash'kha (= Enot Zukim, type locality) and Nahal Zin.

Distribution. The species is known from Israel only.

Records. Mt. Carmel (type locality), Har Horshan, Tel Aviv, Rehovot , Jerusalem, Nahal Zin .

Distribution. Known so far from Israel and Iran.

Salticus spiniger O. Pickard-Cambridge 1872: 339 (♂ ♀).

Records. Hebron and Jerusalem.

Distribution and note. Platnick (2012) lists this species from Sudan to Syria, although it was described from Egypt and never reported from Syria.

Records. En Yahav, crater HaMachtesh HaGadol.

Distribution. Southern Mediterranean: from Morocco to Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Records. Iron Forest (type locality of P. miriae ), Bet Guvrin, Matzuba, Osem, Tarum, Newe Shalom, Mt. Carmel , Jerusalem, Har Horshan, Bet Jimal .
