Like 1, but turf-forming; leaves not more than 10 cm and more slender, often pinkish below; membranous margin wide, extending some distance above sporangium; megaspores c. 450/2, tuberculate, ridges narrow and prominent; microspores smooth or with very few large tubercles. Up to 4 m deep in mountain lakes. • E. Pyrenees. Ga?Hs.
