Much-branched perennial with procumbent or ascending hairy stems. Lower leaves subspathulate to ovate-lanceolate, obtuse; upper narrower, acute. Inflorescence lax, spreading; pedicels and calyx glandularpubescent. Calyx 7-12 mm, teeth obtuse. Limb of petal 3- 5 mm, pale purplish. 2« = 28. • S. W. & S.C. Europe; Italy.
