(P. triternata Pallas). Very like 7 (a) but leaflets ovate to orbicular with undulate margins; follicles fewer (2-3). S.E. Europe. Ju Rm Rs (K, W).
This species is probably part of the P. mascula complex; further studies are necessary before its status can be settled.
