Material. 84: adults, TM, 'Vaucluse', widespread (‘assez repandu’), xi, Populus alba , e.l. iv, RB (Buvat in litt.).
Remarks. In contrast to Ectoedemia hannoverella , there are a few old (19th century) records of E. turbidella , which is known from scattered localities throughout France.
