Prionyx senilis (MORICE 1911) 17, 42

This species differs from P. niveatus (DUFOUR 1854) in females by dark tarsal spines and rake, in the shape of clypeus (see de BEAUMONT 1968b: 153, fig. 14) and a mesonotum brillant. Males have less pubescence, exposal area of mesonotum is brillant and more clearly punctate. The shape of penisvalves of males of P. senilis is slightly different from that of P. niveatus .
