Vernacular Names: Wandering Small-eared Shrew.

Distribution: Andean zone of S Ecuador.

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: C. thomasi group. Revised by Vivar et al. (1997), who called it montivagus.
