Chroaptomus flagrans (Erichson, 1840)

First Record for the State of Puebla ( Fig. 3b View Fig ). “ Mexico: Puebla , Honey , Chila de Juárez, San Marcos River, 20°17ʹ40.3ʹʹN, 98°13ʹ36.6ʹʹW, 1500 m, cloud forest, fermented fruit trap, 8 to 15-VIII-2019, J. D. Silva Hurtado and J. Márquez cols.” (1♂) .

Previous Records. The records provided by Navarrete-Heredia et al. (2002) and Rodríguez et al. The records that we consider valid are those provided by Chani-Posse (2006) and Jiménez-Sánchez et al. (2011). They are as follows ( Fig. 3b View Fig ): Mexico: Chiapas (La Trinitaria: Lagunas de Montebello, 11 mi NW of Ocozocoautla), Estado de México (Malinalco), Hidalgo (6.6 mi SW of Chapulhuacán), Jalisco (Volcán de Tequila), Oaxaca (6–12 mi S of Valle Nacional) and Veracruz (Córdoba: Guadalupe del Barrial, Huatusco, Xico: cascada Texolo); Guatemala (without locality data), Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.
