Distribution: A— Piauí, Ceará, and Paraíba. B— Maranhão.
References: Rosso & Campos (2021); Poester-Carvalho et al. (2023); Grazia et al. (2025). The type-material includes specimens collected in Piripiri (Sete Cidades National Park) and Uruçuí ( Piauí), and Juazeirinho ( Paraíba), localities within the Caatinga region. Rosso & Campos (2021) also recorded Ceará (p. 148) in the distribution of this species; however, no information was listed in the material examined regarding this record. The distribution map published by the authors (Fig. 7 in Rosso & Campos, 2021) does not allow to distinguish the exact sampling locality.
