Microthespis dmitriewi Werner, 1908

Distribution: Ethiopia, Iran, Jordan, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.

Material examined: (1) specimen: Jabal Al Naser (Amman) 1.X.96 (1M). Remarks: Microthespis dmitriewi appears to be rare. Despite the extensive collecting for 2 years no additional specimens were found. Future research is needed to study the status of this species. Only one other species in this genus, M. evansi Uvarov (1931) , was described from Pakistan.
