Material. — Italy, Lagoon of Venice , Malamocco (45°25'N, 12°23' O). From brown algae on benches of Mytilus galloprovincialis . 0–2m. 21.04.04; 8 males, 13 juveniles and approx. 135 ready-to-hatch juveniles. María Fernanda Montoya leg. The collected material is deposited at the Bavarian State Collection of Zoology ( ZSM), numbers A 20061408 -A 20061434 .

General diagnosis. With swimming setae on A2. Basis of Gn2 less than half as long as Pr2. With prominent ventral spine on Pr2 between the insertion sites of Gn2. Pr1, 2 lengthened in males ( McCain, 1968) ( Fig. 7 ).
