Type material: holotype (male) in MNHN, examined.

In Afghanistan subspecies persica ( Wiltshire, 1946)

Blalia vittata persica Wiltshire, 1946: 120.

Type locality: Shiraz [ Fars, SW Iran].

Type material: holotype (male) in BMNH, examined.

Distribution: Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan ( Yakovlev 2011). Reported for “SO v. Shindan” and “ 80 km NO v. Kandahar” ( Daniel 1965). Habitat and biology. Flight period: June.

Material examined: 2 females, SO v. Shindan, 25.0 6.63, leg. Kasy & Vartian ( MNHW); 1 female, SO-Afghanistan, 80 km NO v. Kandahar, 27.0 6.1963, leg. Kasy & Vartian ( MNHW).
