Remarks. Petersen (1958) treated Euplocamus as the only genus in Euplocaminae . He reported that larvae are of the “crawler-type,” living in decaying wood and on mushrooms. Based on the fauna of Japan, Moriuti (1982) placed Euplocamus hierophanta Meyrick, 1916 in Euplocaminae ; the species later was synonymized with Pelecystola strigosa (Moore) by Robinson & Tuck (1996). Robinson (2001) included 11 species in the genus. We recognize 10 species after transferring Euplocamus tanylopha Meyrick, 1932 to Psecadioides . Below we redescribe Euplocamus melanchrodes Meyrick, 1916 and present the first record from China.
