DISTRIBUTION: Coast of Sonora and Baja California ( Mexico), chiefly on small islands.
COMMENT: Transferred from Pizonyx ; see Findley, 1972, Syst. Zook, 21:43. Needs revision due to difference from typical Myotis (BVR).
