Material. Holotype PIN 3429/1113 (+/–), gyne.
Description. Gyne. Body length 8.3 mm. Head longer than wide, with rounded occipital corners and weakly concave occipital margin. Eyes situated in front of lateral midlength of head. Propodeal dorsum and declivity form rounded right angle in side view. Propodeal dorsum shorter than declivity, straight in side view. Declivity straight in side view. Petiole sessile, nearly as long as high and shorter than postpetiole. Postpetiole higher than long. Gaster oval. Some longitudinal rugae are visible on scutum.
Measurements of holotype, mm: AL 2.7; HL ~1.3; HW 1.2; PtH0.38; PptL0.36; PptH0.51.
Comparison. Differs from other known species in size: body length of other known species less than 5.5mm. Etymology. Major is the Latin for big.
