Type Locality: USA, Arizona, Graham Co., Camp Grant.
Vernacular Names: Southern Grasshopper Mouse.
Synonyms: Onychomys clarus Hollister 1913 ; Onychomys knoxjonesi Hollander and Willig 1992 ; Onychomys longicaudus Merriam 1889 ; Onychomys perpallidus Mearns 1896 ; Onychomys pulcher Elliot 1904 ; Onychomys ramona Rhoads 1893 ; Onychomys tularensis Merriam 1904 ; Onychomys yakiensis Merriam 1904 .
Distribution: C California, S Nevada, and extreme SW Utah, USA, south to N Baja California Norte, Sonora, and N Sinaloa, México.
Conservation: IUCN – Data Deficient as O. t. ramona and O. t. tularensis , otherwise Lower Risk (lc).
