Distribution. Russia (S RFE: SE Khabarovskii Kr., Primorskii Kr., S Sakhalin, S Kurils — Kunashir); Korea, Japan ( Hokkaido, Honshu, Izu Islands, Shikoku, Kyushu, Tsushima, Yakushima).
Remarks. In Japan in central Honshu moths fly from May to October, in two or three generations. Larvae feed on flowers of many Ericaceae , and were recorded on flowers of Quercus glauca ( Fagaceae ) and Eurya japonica ( Pentaphylacaceae ) ( Nakajima, Yazaki 2011).
